Announcing the Erin’s WINGS 2017-2018 Scholarship Award

Erin’s W.I.N.G.S. (Working to, Inspire, Nurture & Guide, Students) was established in memory of our daughter Erin Mace after her death in September, 2005. The goal of our organization is to provide guidance and educational support in order for students to realize their potential. To that end we have established the Erin’s W.I.N.G.S. Scholarship Award to assist our recipients with college expenses and to support Lindbergh High School student participation in leadership conferences.  The Class of 2018 will represent the final Erin’s W.I.N.G.S. Scholarship Award presented.

We have awarded scholarships to 14 outstanding Lindbergh students – Casey Lovera (Class of 2007), Chris Wright (Class of 2008), Gretchen Mueller (Class of 2009), Lori Finklang and Dan Ploesser (Class of 2010), Sophia Meyer (Class of 2011), Sydney Milner (Class of 2012), Jordan Yanker (Class of 2013), Taylor Ratliff (Class of 2014), Caroline Ruprecht and Brendin Wright (Class of 2015), Matt Dreon (Class of 2016), and our Class of 2017 recipients, Samuel Bailey, and Tyler Castro. We will present our final scholarship during the 2017-18 school year.  Our organization will work in conjunction with the Lindbergh School District to identify a deserving student for this year’s Erin’s W.I.N.G.S. scholarship award.  The amount of this year’s scholarship award will be $1500 which will be paid out in a single lump sum.

Interested Lindbergh High School seniors or children of Lindbergh High School graduates are encouraged to complete and submit the attached application form. The application deadline is December 31, 2017.

Erin’s WINGS 2017 Scholarship Award Update

We are very proud to have recognized (2) outstanding Lindbergh students from the Class of 2017.  Tyler Castro and Samuel Bailey were both recognized for the academic excellence, character, and commitment to our community.  Tyler will be attending Missouri University of Science and Technology in the fall to obtain a degree in Computer Science.  Samuel will be attending Webster University to obtain his degree in Finance.  Congratulations to both of our scholarship winners!  Good luck and congratulations Tyler and Samuel!
